International Friendship Day 2018

Commemoration of International Friendship Day 2018

International Friendship Day (IFD) is a day dedicated to the understanding of Singapore's relations with neighbouring countries such as the ASEAN countries and beyond. It aims to sensitise our children towards the geo-political realities inherent in Singapore, as well as nurture in our students the spirit of friendship and collaboration among different people.

On 2nd April, we commemorated IFD with an assembly programme presented by our very own international students, Daniel (P5 Care) and Bansi (P5 Progressive). They shared with the school on the significance of IFD and how each of us can play a part by fostering friendship with everyone.

During the recesses, a slew of activities were organised for the students to help them remember the IFD messages. Many of our Parent Support Group members came down to support the event.
